I’m still getting the hang of the new company and as of yet cannot edit my web page or get into my mail. Well I won’t continue that with a song lyric, but I think the title has enough of one to still continue the trend I had going. As the topic says it has been a while since I’ve posted. One day I’ll get the hang of blogging and do it on a more regular basis. Until then this is what we’ve got. Today’s entry won’t be about anything important just comic fanboy stuff, I just want to get my thoughts out there in case it does happen I can point out this blog and say “ha ha I knew it!”

  There are some major shake-ups possibly on the way in DC Comics with the Final Crisis coming up. I’ve looked at some clues and some rumors and have a theory as to what may happen. I could be totally off, but this is part of the fun of reading comics. Let’s look at the clues:

• We have a “Final Crisis” poster showing the icons of DC stating “Heroes Die, Legends Live Forever.”
• Kal-L is still supposed to come back according to JSA #1
• The New Gods of the “4th World” are dying off
• A Legion of SuperHeroes is doing experiments with the Speed Force
• Batman has a son Damien (may be spelled wrong)
• Jason Todd is back from the dead and aged due to a Lazarus Pit.
• Rumor: Bruce Wayne dies in July. Batman to be one of the people who have been Robin.
• Rumor: The Icons of DC are to become the “5th World” New Gods and their sidekicks take over. Idea may have been scrapped and is now just a Batman story.

So looking at that I came up with the following theory. The Final Crisis will see the Icons of DC becoming New Gods, just not all of them are who we expect. I believe that Kal-L will be the Superman that elevates to a god and that the Legions expirement will have Barry Allen come back and then he too will be elevated. This will leave things status quo for Clark Kent and for Wally West, each who does not have a sidekick to assume their identities. Bruce Wayne will also be given the new status and while most people will think this is why Jason Todd is back or that Dick Grayson should be the rightfull successor, I believe that the new Batman will be Damien Wayne, Bruce’s son, who will have aged during the return of Ra’s Al Ghul storyline.

Now I could be totally wrong, but it sure will be fun to find out!

…workin’ on a full house”I figured that song from Garth Brooks was fitting for the theme of this blog since soon MY house will be getting full. Sue and I just went to the 1st doctor’s appointment for the new pregnancy. That’s right folks, I’m going to be a Dad for a 2nd time, so Rylee’s going to have a little brother or sister!! We’re expecting the little one to show up around the end of January, and I’ll keep posting updates here
